Today was pretty good hip wise, I got some news from my teachers about things they are getting to make the transition easier. It's nice to know they are looking out for me. Everything is coming on pretty fast, and I don't feel ready at all. I don't know how I can change it either. It's going to be rough.
And so it goes.

This is Lauren, Dr S's patient who's blog you have been reading. I wanted to offer my e-mail address to you if you would like to talk before and after surgery (lauren@unitoneatlanta.com). I am now 5 weeks post surgery so I have some experience under my belt. I would also be happy to give you my phone number so if you would like to talk shoot me an e-mail. I promise you you will be fine. The waiting for surgery is the worst part. Hang in there you'll feel better on the other side of surgery.
